Origin APLNG Brine Transfer

Project Overview

Design and engineering of brine transfer piping systems for Origin Energy's APLNG project as part of the Australia Pacific LNG development.

Led a team of mechanical/piping engineers and draftsmen at Amec Australia to carry out piping design on several green field and brown field projects. Prepared and maintained Piping Standards and Pipe Support Standards. Designed pumping systems, pipe routing, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Conducted feasibility studies for Gas Treatment and Water Treatment Plant including pumping capacity calculation, hydraulic flow modelling and pipe routing and layout. Performed surge analysis of HDPE pipelines and finite element analysis for critical components.
