Qld Nickel Diesel & Slurry Pipes

Project Overview

Design of 1.6km diesel pipeline and 500m slurry pipeline with full stress analysis for Queensland Nickel Yabulu Refinery.

Worked as a Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer at AECOM Australia carrying out stress analysis, mechanical design and 2D/3D modelling on several green field and brown field projects at Queensland Nickel Yabulu Refinery. Designed a 1.6km long Diesel Pipe with full stress analysis, BOQ, and customer liaison. Designed a 500m long Slurry Pipe with comprehensive stress analysis. Created and maintained piping specifications for a Desalination Plant. Conducted pipe asset management and inspection across the refinery's extensive piping network.
